To Have and To Hold

Sizzix Cross die set (cut, emboss, stencil), To have and to hold stamp
previously from TAC, vellum from my stash embossed
with Swiss Dot Cuttlebug Embossing folder,
Nina cardstock, Gina K Designs cardstock, ribbon from
Amuse, Elizabeth Craft's Warm Diamond Silk Microfine Glitter,
flowers by Jolee's, and pearls from my stash.

I was looking to make a very special Wedding card for my mother
who will be getting married in a month. Even though this is going to be a
very low key wedding by a Justice of the Peace (both have been married before
and both are up in age) it is still a very special time for all of us.
My mom's favorite color is yellow and I wanted something elegant
looking. I don't know if you can see it on the computer, but the cross
is covered with warm silk glitter and burnished.
I love how this came out and can't wait to see
her reaction to it.

Missing You

Stamp set called Janie's Girls, Dazzles Lines, and papers
from Kindred Spirits all by Hot Off the Press, pink cardstock
and buttons from Gina K Designs, Copic markers,
Spica Pens, and bling and twine from my stash.

I really like the colors and design of the papers from Kindred Spirits.
I also think all the stamps from Janie's Girls are so cute,
so I just had to make another one. I did a lot of paper piecing on
this card which I haven't done in a while.
It is a quiet holiday for me so I am taking advantage of it and stamping!

I Love You

Amuse cardstock (both solid and gingham), Dazzles lines from
Paper Wishes, Stamp from Janie's Girls by Hot Off The Press, buttons
from Gina K Design, Copic makers, Spica pens, Sakura glitter pen,
Dynamics banner die, and twine from my stash.

It feels good to be back and create again! My life has been very
busy lately, and will probably continue to be for a few more weeks at least.
I had my niece's shower and the wedding is in 2 weeks, my daughter is
graduating in 3 weeks, and my mother is getting married. All good fun
things but kept me off my computer for a while.

I had been waiting to use my gingham cardstock from Amuse for
quite a while now, and had pictured using all the colors somehow. This
is what I came up with. I love the springiness of the colors. The gingham reminds
me of picnics. I fell in love with this little girl image as soon as I saw it,
and couldn't wait to color her. Probably will be a card for one of the
females in my family.

Happy Mother's Day

Amuse cardstock and paper, Stamp from Simon Says Stamp,
Sizzix Framelits Scallop die set, Hot Off The Press heart
Dazzles, and bling from my stash

I just LOVE this Framelits die set and have been anxiously waiting to
be able to use it. It containes all the dies to cut your layered
papers and scalloped circles. You don't have to measure
anything. The papers from Amuse are beautiful and perfect for a
Mother's Day card. This card is for my mother this year.
Below is the opened view.

It's A Bridal Shower

Amuse cardstock, Nina cardstock, Darice heart embossing folder,
Die-Versions umbrella die, Spellbinders oval die, Amuse button
and ribbon.

I am having a shower for my niece and this is the invitation I made
for it. I had been waiting to use this umbrella die and thought it
would be perfect for this occasion. This is my sample, and
I ended up using Amuse ribbon with matching green trim on the ones I mailed.
I had a lot of fun making this and am very pleased with the outcome.
